Overview
Discover the fascinating island world of the Surin Islands, one of Thailand’s most beautiful snorkelling paradises. After about a 20-minute drive to the pier in Khao Lak, you reach this group of islands near the border with Myanmar in roughly 90 minutes by speed boat. The five islands of Surin National Park delight with crystal-clear waters, colourful coral reefs and an impressive variety of tropical fish. Explore the underwater world while snorkelling and enjoy unspoilt nature. A particular highlight is the visit to the traditional Moken village. Learn about the way of life of the Moken, also known as sea nomads, and gain an insight into their unique culture. Lunch is served in the national park. Afterwards, you have time to relax and swim on the dreamlike beaches. On the way back, you can look forward to further snorkelling stops before returning to the mainland by speed boat. An unforgettable day trip with stunning beaches, a fascinating underwater world and authentic cultural encounters.

The Surin national park is open from 15 October to 15 May; daily departures in season, max 32 guests, guides speak German, French and English. Minimum age 4. Pregnant women cannot join speedboat tours.

If you cancel late, cancel altogether or do not show up, we reserve the right to pass on the costs and expenses incurred. As a rule: a 50% cancellation fee up to 24 hours before the tour starts, 100% on the day of the tour.
