Overview
The perfect family outing! Experience a varied day filled with nature, culture, and unforgettable encounters with elephants. Early in the morning, you will visit the largest local market in Takua Pa. Discover the market’s colourful hustle and bustle, exotic specialities, and try a variety of fresh fruits from the region. Afterwards, the drive takes you through idyllic hilly landscapes to a certified elephant project. Here, you have the special opportunity to get up close to the gentle giants. Prepare nutritious food balls yourself, feed the elephants, and accompany the animals for a mud bath and subsequent care in the water. An impressive experience with many wonderful photo opportunities. After a delicious Thai lunch, you will visit a traditional temple and enjoy the view of the surrounding landscape. To round off the day, a relaxing bamboo raft ride awaits you on the Sok River. Sit back and float past tropical rainforest, lush vegetation, and towering limestone cliffs through the beautiful nature of Khao Sok National Park.
Good to know
The tour takes place with a minimum of 6 participants. The elephant camp is internationally verified and places great importance on respectful treatment of the animals – no elephant riding and no chains. Please wear clothes that can get wet and muddy. It is essential to bring a change of clothes and a towel so that you can change after the elephant experience.

Cancellation & no-show
If you cancel late, cancel altogether or do not show up, we reserve the right to pass on the costs and expenses incurred. As a rule: a 50% cancellation fee up to 24 hours before the tour starts, 100% on the day of the tour.
