Overview
The Surin Islands lie further out and emptier than the Similans, with the shallowest, fishiest reefs on the coast — snorkelling straight from the beach. Add the village of the Moken, the sea nomads of Surin Tai, a Thai buffet in the national park and three snorkelling stops in different bays.
Speedboat. The classic: a covered speedboat with two outboards for up to 20 guests, or three for up to 32. Fast and agile — the shortest way to the islands.
