Phuket's longest beach, eleven kilometres from the national park to the Sarasin Bridge — and almost empty, because there are no loungers and no vendors. The sand is coarser than in the south, the sea rough in summer; in winter sea turtles come to lay their eggs. For walking, not for lazing.
